Terms & Conditions

RATES:

  • All rates are quoted and invoiced in ZAR (South African Rand) on a per-person-per night basis unless otherwise stated.

  • All rates are subject to change without prior notice.

  • All rates exclude specialist meals (e.g. certified outsourced Halaal and Kosher meals).

RATES INCLUDE:

  • Accommodation, custom daily guided safari activities, guided walking safaris, photographic hide, all meals, on-drive snacks and drinks, a limited selection of house beverages, laundry service, twice daily housekeeping and turn-down service, conservation levies and 15% VAT.

RATES EXCLUDE:

  • Discretionary gratuities, premium alcoholic beverages, cigars, all items of a personal nature, travel insurance and any road or air transfers to/from the reserve.

ADULTS TRAVELLING:

  • Adult Sharing rates apply to persons (12 years and older) sharing one (1) suite.

  • Persons twelve (12) years and older are considered adults and will therefore require their own room/ tent at the applicable rates.

  • Single adult rates are only applicable when one adult is staying in their own suite/ tent.

  • Note that all rooms can sleep a maximum of two (2) adults.

CHILDREN POLICY:

  • Regrettably, no persons under the age of 6 years can be accommodated.

  • Persons aged 6-11 years are welcome at !Khamab Phênê only.

  • Persons aged 6-11 years are welcome at any camp when secured on an exclusive use basis.

  • Persons under the age of twelve (12) years are not permitted at !Khamab Kanako.

  • Persons under the age of sixteen (16) years are not permitted at !Khamab Dinaledi.

  • Persons under the age of sixteen (16) years are not permitted on any guided safari walks.

  • Children aged 6-11 years are permitted to take part in the daily game drives.

  • Parents/guardians always remain responsible for the supervision of minors.

  • !Khamab Kalahari Reserve reserves the right to cancel the reservation should we not receive the deposit within the above specified time frame.

  • Direct transfers can be made into our bank account. All payments should be made in full and free of any bank charges.

MINIMUM STAY:

  • For the full experience !Khamab recommends a minimum four (4) night stay.

  • A minimum two (2) night stay is required over low seasonal periods.

  • A minimum three (3) night stay is required over high demand periods.

  • Minimum stay requirements may be applied to featured occasion dates or events and will be advised at the time of booking.

ACCESSIBILITY:

Given !Khamab’s remote location, the following options are recommended in order of priority:

  • Scheduled Charter: Enjoy the benefit of a reduced per-seat rate on scheduled days, when travelling to or from !Khamab before 31 December 2026.

  • Private Charter: This is the most comfortable and time-efficient option, with an inclusive transfer to the lodge in an open game viewer. Approximate flight time from Lanseria Airport is 1h45.

  • Chauffeured Road Transfers from Kimberley Airport: Offered by an external supplier experienced with the routing and terrain. Approximate drive time from Kimberley Airport to the reserve is 5h30.

  • Self-Drive: A 4×4 vehicle is recommended. Vehicles are parked at a central location on the reserve, where you will be met by one of our expert guides and transferred to the lodge.

GENERAL TRAVEL INFORMATION:

  • Travel Insurance is highly recommended, covering personal effects, personal accident, medical expenses, emergency travel expenses, and cancellation fees for all accommodation.

  • Check-in time from 14h00 | Check-out time 11h00.

  • Entrance gate times: Opens: 08h00 | Closes: 18h00

  • We have a limited number of private safari vehicles available for guests at an additional cost (subject to availability). Private vehicles must be booked for a guest’s entire stay. Please enquire with Reservations.
